PVP is aggressively seeking to publish new books and we look forward to reviewing your proposal.  We welcome proposals from both established and new authors. The following information should help you determine whether your book idea may be appropriate for our publishing company.

PVP Publishes:
PVP publishes technical books and handbooks for those individuals involved in the process industries.  Our focus is primarily on process, production and pressure equipment for the process industry.  We suggest you familiarize yourself with the types of books we are interested in publishing by browsing the titles we carry on our website at www.pvpub.com.  Be sure to read the book descriptions and table-of-contents.

Book Proposals Should Include the Following:

Author(s) Information (repeat for multiple authors):
Author’s name
Title and/or position
Mailing address
Work Phone
Fax
Email
Personal bio & list of published material

Manuscript Details:
Title
Cover letter
Detailed chapter outline (typed, letter-sized, double-space)
Details of any photos and/or images your book will contain (including counts)
Estimated number of pages
Introduction and sample chapter
List of competing titles, if any
Market Need: Brief explanation of why your book would add value to the market and who the audience would be

FYI:
PVP will not return your submissions (so don’t send us the only copy of your manuscript).
Expect to receive a decision on your proposal within 30-days
